Glass tubes from the in-house glass blowing workshop
Did you know that all our physical tubes are manufactured directly in our own glass-blowing shop?
The product range includes a variety of different tubes such as X-ray tubes, spectral tubes, photocells, shadow cross tubes, filament beam tubes, Perrin tubes, electron deflection tubes, electron diffraction tubes and Balmer lamps. All 100% made in Germany, of course!
Moritz Herrmann, who is training as a glass apparatus maker in our company, won first place in this year's glass art competition with his enchanting Christmas glass bells.
In the field of atomic and nuclear physics, for example, various tubes are used in X-ray physics with our microprocessor-controlled complete X-ray apparatus with Mo-tube. This has a construction licence as a school X-ray device and full protection device. This approval also applies to other tubes (Fe, Cu, Ag, W, Au), which are also manufactured in-house.
