Is the 2nd quantum revolution coming?

Together with Dr Florian Aigner and our guests from PIN (S-UBG's partner network), we explored the question "Is the 2nd quantum revolution coming?"

What we took away from his exciting lecture on 17 April 2024:

  • Nothing is as it seems!
  • Quantum particles can be in two places at the same time and: they are divas. To make them usable for a computer, they have to be perfectly shielded, cooled and protected from the outside world, otherwise they will refuse to work.

Do we understand the world of quanta? No!

What we do understand are practical demonstrations of physical phenomena using modern teaching systems.
