LEYBOLD experiments offer comprehensive versatility, ideal for demonstrations, student experiments and practical lab work. They cover all levels of education - from lower secondary school to upper secondary school and further university lab work. Our chemistry experiments are carefully tailored to the curriculum and ensure a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Our experiments are developed in-house by a product management team with great technical and didactic expertise. This approach allows us to consistently use the same materials and equipment, making it easier for teachers and lab managers to build and expand their own collections. This significantly reduces the effort required to maintain and care for the entire collection. Our student experiments are designed to engage students directly in the process of scientific discovery up to the application in the chemical industry.


Durable and safe equipment

We understand that durability and reliability are essential in the classroom and lab. At LEYBOLD, we stand for equipment that is robust and durable, designed for use over many years. Our chemistry experiments fulfil the safety standards according to the German guidelines for safety in the classroom (RiSu). In addition, they are provided with elaborate risk assessments to ensure safe experimentation, even when hazardous substances are involved. These are offered in small container sizes and are adapted to the experiments.

LEYBOLD's unique chemistry presentation system CPS allows flexible adaptation to different experimental situations. The innovative system ensures a standardised, stable and safe set-up for experiments. As it is mounted in a vertical plane, the chemistry presentation system CPS enables complex chemical processes to be presented clearly and effectively.

Where it makes sense, our experiments utilise the modern measurement technology of the CASSY family. The user-friendly design enables both beginners and advanced users to work quickly and efficiently with the devices. This not only guarantees precise and reliable results, but also makes it easy to learn how to use digital measuring devices. In addition, all experiments are supplied with standardised literature that provides comprehensive support for setting up, carrying out and evaluating the experiments.


Digitalisation in chemistry lessons

We also support teachers, lab managers and lecturers with digital tools for preparation, from equipment management to editor software, to make experimentation more efficient and engaging.
