A female student carries out a measurement with the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi in a Science Lab Electronics experiment.

Two students are experimenting in physical chemistry. They carry out an experiment in electrochemistry and wear protective goggles for safety. In this experiment, the students set up a zinc iodide accumulator and charge it in the first part of the experiment using electrolysis. The students can observe this as iodine is produced in one half-cell and zinc is deposited on the carbon electrode in the other half-cell. The battery is discharged by connecting it to a load and the cell voltage is measured with the Mobile-CASSY.

Fast data acquisition

One of the outstanding features of the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi is its fast data acquisition. It can record 500,000 values per second and is therefore able to measure very fast processes, for example in electronics. In contrast to the Mobile-CASSY 2, many other data acquisition systems only work with data rates of 1,000 values per second.
